Privacy Policy
1. Scope
Kinetic Takeover Education is operated by Kinetic Takeover LLC, 460 E Veterans Way, Unit 6, Mukwonago, WI 53149, United States, which is responsible for the information described here. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit the site, create a student account, study a course, take a quiz, make a purchase, or participate as an affiliate or content partner. 2. Information you give us
Account information: your name, email address and password credentials (passwords are stored only as salted hashes by our authentication provider; we never see them). Support information: the content of any support, refund or account-deletion request you submit. Affiliate information: your referral code and payout-related details if you participate in the affiliate or content-partner programme.
3. Information created as you use the platform
Learning data: which courses and lessons you have accessed, lessons marked complete, overall course progress, quiz and practice-exam attempts, the answers you selected, scores, timing and category-level weak-area analysis. Purchase data: the products you bought, order status, amount paid, currency, the payment provider's transaction and session identifiers, and refund status. Referral data: the referral code present when you arrived, stored so a purchase can be attributed to the correct affiliate.
4. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers, security codes and bank details are entered directly into Stripe's payment form and are never received or stored by us. We store only what Stripe returns to us: the order status, amount, currency and transaction identifiers needed to grant access, issue receipts and handle refunds. Stripe processes payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
5. Cookies and similar storage
We use strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in and to keep the site working. We also store a first-party referral cookie when you arrive through an affiliate link, so that a later purchase is attributed correctly; it persists for a limited attribution window. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
6. How we use your information
To create and secure your account; to give you access to the products you purchased; to save and display your progress, quiz history and weak-area analysis; to process payments, receipts and refunds through our payment provider; to attribute referrals and calculate affiliate commissions; to respond to support, refund and deletion requests; to detect abuse such as credential sharing, scraping or fraudulent referrals; to improve course content and platform reliability; and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
7. Legal bases (where applicable law requires them)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing purchased products and your account), on the basis of legitimate interests (platform security, fraud and abuse prevention, improving our products), to comply with legal obligations (tax and financial records), and with your consent where consent is required.
8. Who can see your data
Students can see only their own account, progress, quiz attempts, orders and receipts; access is enforced at the database level by row-level security. Affiliates and content partners see only their own referral, order-attribution and commission totals — never another student's identity, learning data or personal information beyond what is necessary to evidence a commission. Administrators employed or engaged by Kinetic Takeover can access account, order and support data as needed to operate the platform, provide support and investigate abuse. We do not sell or rent personal information.
9. Service providers
We share data with the providers that run the platform: our hosting and database/authentication provider (account, learning, order and support records), and Stripe (payment processing). These providers process data on our instructions or, in Stripe's case, as an independent controller for payment processing, and are bound by their own security and confidentiality obligations.
10. Other disclosures
We may disclose information if required by law, court order or a valid legal request; to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; to prevent fraud, security incidents or harm; or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will state so on this page.
11. Retention
Account, progress and quiz data is kept while your account exists and for as long as you retain access to a purchased product. Order and payment records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law even after an account is deleted. Support requests are kept for a reasonable period after resolution. Affiliate commission records are kept for the period required for payout and accounting purposes.
12. Your rights and deletion requests
You can view and update your account details in your account area at any time. You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated learning data by submitting a request through the support tools in your account area or by emailing support@kinetictakeover.com. Deleting your account ends your access to purchased products and does not by itself entitle you to a refund; financial records we are required to keep are retained. Where the privacy law that applies to you grants further rights — such as objecting to or restricting certain processing, or complaining to a supervisory authority — we will honour them to the extent legally required.
13. Security
Access to your records is restricted by authentication and row-level database policies, data is transmitted over encrypted connections, sensitive credentials are held as server-side secrets, and quiz answer keys are never sent to the browser before submission. No system can be guaranteed completely secure; please use a strong, unique password and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
14. Children
The platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Some test-preparation products are used by teenagers preparing for a learner's permit; where a minor uses the platform, a parent or guardian should create and supervise the account. If you believe a child has provided us information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.
15. International users
Kinetic Takeover LLC operates from the United States and has no establishment or representative in the European Union or the United Kingdom. Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. If you access the platform from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
16. Changes and contact
